how to decolonize your view of the war in Ukraine.
It has been over a month since the russian genocide of my people started. We stand, nevertheless. Despite that, neither Russians nor Westerners would expect us to resist more than 48 hours. Despite the insurmountable amount of death, rape, and looting my country faces every day. Despite that, we still haven't seen a single weapon we asked for from our allies. It takes a toll on all of us. On some days, I have no power left in me — only pain, hate, and grief. When one faces russian colonial occupation, there are worse things than death, after all. But then there's another sunrise here and we still stand. We still love. We still stop russian tanks with bare hands. We persist. In many various ways of resistance, including this newsletter that I do for my growing support network.
