Since russian colonial playbook has barely changed in the last several generations, it is not that rare to see older generations of Eastern European anti-colonial voices always inspiring younger generations of their successors.
I was reminded of this, once again, while reading this week an anti-colonial essay by Ukrainian writer Victoria Amelina, published posthumously after russia murdered her earlier this month (the most important piece about Ukraine written since the start of the genocide - amplify, please.)
She mentioned Czech writer Milan Kundera as an inspiration.
