The huge percentage of Ukrainians in Canada have been "neutralized". Unless living outside of the LAN, few diaspora Ukrainians see the 2014 POTUS Obama covert, unilateral "GREEN LIGHT" of the geopolitical loss to the EU/NATO of Ukraine's Crimean soil, Families and Black, Azov Sea vast military zones as a epochal and pivotal historic event. With Bill C-9 coming to legally criminalize Canada, Ukraine will see even less of that beaten diaspora.
Going forward, Maybe the 1710 Ukrainian constitution that inspired the US founding fathers later constitution may penetrate the nebulous wall of ignorance. That spiritual connection should be tangible to many Yankees. Perception of that shared history should move the average much more to understanding the need to be "close" to freedom + happiness looking Ukraine.
Otherwise, the "LOLITA" psychology drives the average US voter closer to the slave owning-trading Kremlin Muscovy history that subliminally hooks the uneducated ( about Ukraine) Doodle Dandy.
